MICHELLE LEVITT

Michelle is a Junior Economics Major with a minor in Comparative Studies in Literature and Culture. Originally from San Diego, Michelle has been dancing all her life and teaching for the past 6 years, with training primarily in Contemporary, Modern and Ballet. Additionally, Michelle is choreographing her third piece for Dance Pro and recently co-founded the Speech, Debate and Discourse Club. Listen to her KOXY radio show Wednesdays @6 and catch her dancing around campus!

KATHERINE CHANG

she.her.hers | hip-hop

Katherine is a Junior Psychology major, Education and Sociology double minor. Katherine has been dancing since elementary school, but did not find her love for hip hop until her senior year of high school. She continued her passion of dance by joining PULSE and Dance Productions, and even became a co-choreographer for Dance Pro her sophomore year. She loves PULSE because it encourages a wide range of dancers to dance together and it is a safe, encouraging space where she can relieve stress.

MAYA CRAWFORD

Maya Crawford is junior economics major from the Bay Area. Maya did gymnastics since she was three but after graduating high school, she decided to explore her interest in dance in college through PULSE and Dance Production.

ELOISE "WEEZY" WUKMIR

Eloise, also known as Weezy, is a junior Sociology major from Upland, California. She has been dancing on and off since childhood, and her favorite styles are hip hop and contemporary.

OLIVIA "OSHIN" SHINNERS

she.her.hers | hip-hop

Olivia is a first-year, intended Diplomacy and World Affairs major. Olivia loves dancing all styles whether at PULSE or as a member of HyperXpressions. Outside of dance, she is either getting her caffeine fix from the Green Bean, working in HR, or laughing at memes! She loves how inclusive the dance community is at Oxy and can't wait to challenge herself with you all!

ESMÉ BROWN

Esmé is a Junior Kinesiology major and Physics minor at Occidental. She began dancing when she was just 3 years old, and has trained in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, pointe, and hip hop at Dance Arts Centre, Minnesota. Esmé was also a member of La Danse Fatale Ballet Company for several years, and participated in summer intensives at the Kirov Academy of Ballet and Joffrey Ballet. As a Junior, she is excited to be a Dance Pro choreographer and Executive Board member!  In her free time Esmé teaches Yoga Sculpt at CorePower Yoga and enjoys petting random dogs in the quad.

NATALIA GUERRA

Natalia (or Nati) is a Sophomore Sociology major and Gender & Women's studies minor at Occidental. She started dancing when she was 3 years old and was classically trained for 12 years before expanding into hip-hop in high school. In her (very rare) free time Nati likes to sit in the sun, call her mom, and nap!

TEAGAN LANGSETH-DEPAOLIS

Teagan Langseth-DePaolis is a first year student and an intended Politics major with a Critical Theory and Social Justice Minor! She was born in St.Paul, MN but grew up primarily in Portland Oregon. She has been dancing since she was 2 and has dabbled in all sorts of styles, but found her home in the hip-hop style when she was 8. She has been a member of several different hip-hop companies, and most recently was a member of the WOD champion crew RAW–a pre-professional company from just outside of Portland. She is extremely interested in Politics and social justice (As demonstrated by her major/minor choice), and considers herself an advocate and member of all sorts of movements, however her main passions lie in global reproductive rights and gender equity movements! In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, reading, and drinking a little too much boba tea.

STELLA RAMOS

Stella Ramos is a first-year from Seattle, Washington. She’s currently undeclared but considering a degree in DWA or English/Writing. She has been dancing since she was two, which led into other passions such as a background in competitive gymnastics and cheer! Besides gigging with PULSE, Stella works at the CDLA, writes for The Weekly, and dances with DancePro and Hyper Xpressions. She enjoys card games, puns, poetry, writing, dance (obviously), and naps.
