MAYA
Co-President

Meet Maya! Maya is a Senior majoring in Economics with a minor in Sociology, and one of our lovely presidents. Before PULSE, Maya did gymnastics and had never danced before however, she has since become a consistent choreographer and E-Board member! When she’s not busy running sh*t in the studio she’s probably watching Netflix, finding new food spots, going to concerts, or taking on a thousand other clubs/activities. Maya loves PULSE because it has always been a place for her to explore her interest in dance by allowing her to learn more about various dance genres and challenging herself with a supportive group of people!
MICHELLE
Co-President
Meet Michelle! Originally from San Diego, she is a senior Economics major with a CSLC minor and is a Co-Director of External Affairs! Michelle is fluent in Russian, is the President and founder of Oxy’s Public Discourse Club, and can do a double pirouette into a penché like no other!!
KATHERINE
Treasurer
Meet Katherine! Katherine is a Senior majoring in Psychology and our Treasurer! Katherine has been attending PULSE since freshman year and loves it so much because it encourages a wide range of dancers to dance together! Dancing is a huge stress reliever for Katherine so she loves that she can enjoy learning a new dance in a short amount of time!
TEAGAN
Co-Director of Public Relations
Meet Teagan! Teagan is a second-year Politics Major, and Co-Publicist! She has danced with a hip-hop companies in Oregon, is an active member of Planned Parenthood club and is super passionate about politics. In her spare time, Teagan loves getting (a little too deep) into the LA thrifting scene, hitting the gym, and unintentionally memorizing every line to any and all 90s chick flicks. She's always down to chat to and you can usually find her hunkered down at the GB!
NATALIA

Meet Natalia! Natalia is a rising junior majoring in Sociology, minoring in Gender & Women’s Studies, and Co-Publicist. When she’s not in PULSE, she’s dancing with HyperXpressions, playing music with KOXY, watching HIMYM, or finding new food spots (suggestions welcome!). She loves PULSE because it connects people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities together through dance to create a truly supportive community!
STELLA
Co-Director of External Affairs
Meet Stella! Stella is the co-director of external affairs for her second semester as a sophomore from Seattle (she also loves alliteration). Stella has been dancing since she was two, and contemporary is her favorite style. She is a Green Bean barista, the Features Editor at The Occidental, and passionate about journalism, laughter, spreading positivity, and sleeping in. Stella is also a member of HyperXpressions and DancePro—Loving the dance community she's found on campus and excited to see all of the new and returning faces in Pulse each week!

NICOLE YIM

Meet Nicole! Nicole is a rising sophomore MAC major from Los Angeles. She loves all dance styles and has a soft spot for jazz, hip hop, and contemporary. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys looking for up and coming R&B artists, relaxing at the beach, and hitting up dessert joints!
